the tradition of morning food markets has almost died out in this country, but thankfully there is
a growing movement of small farmers and growers, who bring the very best of their
produce to our (your) table, where you can enjoy wonderful lamb,
game meats, trout from the wooden tanks in the chateau courtyard,
and our home-made sausages, pâtés and desserts
we prefer to let the quality of our ingredients speak for itself, so..
in the spring we start with refreshing salads and herbs, then asparagus, strawberries and blackberries,
followed by the wonderful flavours of wild forest mushrooms.. the warm weather brings
fresh fish and aromatic barbecues in the chateau courtyard, then the autumn
ushers in game meats, pork, and hearty filling dishes

the zábřeh chateau is an officially licensed wedding venue
( knights’ hall, restaurant, or courtyard), so the whole event can be held here.
if you would prefer to have your wedding in a church or at the town hall registry office,
you can come to the chateau after the ceremony and have your wedding reception here
