About Chateau Zábřeh
Originally a Gothic water fortress on the Odra river was by Ctibor Syrakovský from Pěrkov rebuilt to comfortable Renaissance chateau.
Hence the name Zábřeh, ie "behind the Bank" of Odra. In the mid-17th century the chateau was rebuilt Baroque and came under the Olomouc bishopric - become established-its economic management and brewery (the first written mention of brewing here is already from 1574 !!!)...
