Head brewer and new face of brewery PIKARD® become Tomáš Hub. He comes from Palačov near  Nový Jičín, where beer was brewed already by his grand-uncle. He continued in his family tradicion and studied biochemistry and in 1994 become an assistant brewer at the brewery Novojičínsko National House. During last 9 years travelled with beer around the world, when he was involved in "building" and operation mini-breweries with Czech technology - especially in Asia (Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam). Beer took him also to Australia, Russia, Kazachstan or Azerbaijan. In Europa he become familiar with beer specials - Belgium, the Netherlands, England and France. "Work abroad gave me a unique opportunity to participate in the dissemination of "beer Christianity" in the world... I got the first job offer from Chateau Zábřeh about two years ago but that time I had to finished my work in the Russia. In the brewery PIKARD® I would love to continued in very successful tradition of brewing specials. I would like to try something new - variation of english beer ALE - brewed with top fermentation with strong fruit aroma. I believe people will love it."
